Sallie Deitz
Meet Sallie…
As a former flight attendant and Nordstrom Pacesetter Award recipient, Sallie Deitz a clinical aesthetician, managed the skin care division of Hecht Aesthetic Center since 1996. Sallie offers over 20 skin care lines and performed signature advanced personalized clinical skin care treatments with her esteemed colleagues Emil Hecht, M.D. (director-facial plastic surgeon), Chris Stacey PA-C (injectibles and laser), and Katy Denooyer CMA, LA (laser tech and hair removal).
With passion and integrity, Sallie has developed a role as a liaison between the patient and physician while working with pre and postoperative surgical patients. One cosmetic surgery patient recently said, “Sallie made the difference in my recovery. Her expertise, strength, and non-judgmental approach make her the best in her field.”
She has been hired by leading companies to work in product development, and most recently was appointed to serve as a committee member with the National Interstate Council of State Board Examiners (cosmetology division), to develop an advanced practices licensing exam for master aestheticians.
Ms. Deitz is the author of The Clinical Esthetician, An Insiders Guide to Succeeding in a Medical Office (Delmar 2003), and Amazing Skin, A Girls Guide to Naturally Beautiful Skin (Drummond 2005), and has been a contributing author on a variety of textbooks and articles industry-wide on skin care (see Resume and CV).
Sallie holds a C.I.D.E.S.C.O. associate membership, is a member of the National Coalition of Estheticians & Associations (NCEA), and the Canadian Society of Professional Skin Care Specialists. In addition, since 1998 she has served as an editorial advisory board member and author for the magazine Plastic Surgery Products, Los Angeles, California; and as a manuscript reviewer for Delmar Publishing/Thomson Learning, Clifton Park, New York.
